We’re about to hop on one of Virgin America’s first flights to Chicago, off to spend a week exploring, hanging with friends, and visiting family. I haven’t been to the Windy City since I was a kid (my Grandparents used to live in Elmhurst), so I’m pretty excited to visit as an adult and really take it in. It’s supposed to rain (because it wouldn’t be a Smith Vacation if it didn’t rain), but at least it’ll be thunderstorms – which I do love and also haven’t seen in ages! Praying for just a day or so of sunshine though…
