i’m reading a book

I owe you all a proper update, but until I muster up the energy, here’s a little something fun for you to watch. It’s my hubs’ latest video, one that he worked extremely hard on I might add! I guess Julian felt a little bad for making me listen to him editing this song for weeks on end, so he gave me a little cameo. First timer!

I’m a big fan of all his vids, but this one is especially fantastic. I think it’s my new fave.

Last thing. Let me take this moment to debunk the myth that Julian actually reads books… I’m the library nerd around these parts.

Our family loved this. We’re all avid readers and, as usual, his video gave us plenty of laughs. Well done on the cameo! :)

Love the new video and you look adorable. I wanted to see if Julian had considered uploading it to Teacher Tube. I have sent YouTube links to my teacher friends, but they most schools block YouTube. Just a thought!
Love you guys and hope you are doing well.

I discovered the video last week and promptly bought the iTunes song, but do wish iTunes also had the video version (I’ve seen songs at one price and the video version for a bit more).

One more wish .. oh, I so wish the “cop” wanted the window lowered. I am sharing the video with all my adult family and friends, not children. I think so many librarians could have had a lot of fun with “I’m Reading a Book,” but with the inappropriate language for young people, not so quick. It actually was on a librarian’s e-mail list that I received the link, but enjoying it among peers is where I think it will more likely stay. I work in a K-12 school system and can imagine so many students pooh-poohing my concern, but I am more concerned with not raising my building principal’s ire!

Now that I know Julian’s work, I look forward to future videos!
