mashup with facebook

Today we launched a new product called Mashup that turns all your Facebook Likes into real content via a personalized entertainment Stream on Myspace. In just one step, we actually pull all your interests and auto follow/add the corresponding music/movies/celeb/tv pages on Myspace, populating your Stream with all kinds of fun new content about the stuff you’re into. Yes, now all the things you “Like” will actually give you something in return – videos, photos, news from thousands of sources, updates, etc.

It’s all very exciting and I’m proud to have been a part of it (even if I can’t use it because I don’t have Facebook.) Check out our little video below:

Are you not allowed to use facebook because you work for MySpace?

Omgosh no! We are partners with them. Everyone here has Facebook. I just choose not to because a) it’s a time suck b) it was diluting my relationships and I’d rather have my friends actually call me instead of rely on leaving a 35 ch comment and c) privacy. :)

…and your hubby has 25 great reasons too. Lol.
