And I’ll be MARRIED! I’ll be a WIFE. With a HUSBAND. A hot, funny, sweet husband, but still – a husband. How crazy is that? What a year this is going to be.

Leave me comments with all the best things to do and places to go in Paris!

Sarah! You guys MUST eat crepes for breakfast, from one of the street vendors. With Nutella. it’s a must. Authentic french crepes (WITH NUTELLA!) are AMAZING. BEST THING EVER. Other than that, I don’t remember much. My trip to Paris was about 10 years ago! Ha!

So I’m pretty sure my buddy and I stayed in a hostel, which was awesome and cheap, but probably not what you were thinking for a honeymoon? Hope it’s a blast! Definitely hit up the tower for an evening picnic or something.

I second what Jeannie says on the crepes with Nutella. Obviously one of the gazillion sidewalk cafes is a must too. I loved how wine was cheaper than pretty much everything in the city. One tip…don’t buy bottled water in a restaurant. You’ll pay 5 euros but if you go to a grocery store it’s like 50 cents–craziest markup of life!! I am so excited for you!

You have got to try an ice cream from Berthillon on the Ile Saint Louis. It is just awesome.
Oh yea, and don´t believe the french (especially people living in Paris) that they don´t understand you. They just don´t like to speak english…
Oh yea and if you drive a car there don´t ever use the bus lanes even though a lot of french people do use them… Will cost you 150€ when they recognize that you aren´t french…
But the most important thing: visit Versailles when you are there, its really lovely, there is even a little medieval village there in the gardens and you can reach it easily by train from Paris.
Will you just be in Paris? Southern France is always worth a visit too. Port Grimaud near St Tropez is so lovely, its like the french venice (http://www.portgrimaud.net/seiten_en/informationen/portgrimaud.htm).

You should go to a bakery early in the morning and have some croissants. It’s best you can ever find there. Climb to Montmartre and have some wine there. You can visit Moulin Rouge there as well. Ah and don’t forget to visit La Basilique du Sacré Coeur. Go Louvre Museum and see some gorgeous paintings aaand of course Mona Lisa. Use elevators for Eiffel!! =) (I tried stairs and it nearly killed me) Have some drink on cafés on Champs-Elysees and try to discover as much streets as you can. Notre Dame, Bastille, Opera and Versailles are must-see places. There’s a park under Eiffel, spend time there as the weather will probably let you do that. Don’t take bus or taxi or anything like that. Just take the subway or walk. You can discover a lot walking and you know Paris subway network is really good. You can go anywhere but keep a map with you. And yes Parisiens speak English. If you like I can try to make you get in contact with a French friend of mine and he’d love to help you out and give some good advices. Just let me know and have fun in Paris! Congrats from now and hugs from Turkey! =)
