The Joys of Motherhood

No, your eyes are not fooling you, it is really 5:20am and I’m posting. What on earth am I doing up right now? Well, allow me to explain. The past few nights Scout has decided it’d be cute to get up and be an insomniac tornado, running around the apartment at 5am, just before I need to get up. Mostly clawing at the front door, because she wants to go outside. Making brief “mmmrwar” sounds to let me know she “needs something.” Dammit child I am sleeping!! She’ll come lay with me for 5 minutes then go back to it. I’ve tried barricading the door but that only encourages her more. Now she’s knocking over water glasses, climbing through my blinds, etc. I finally just turned on the light and sat up, trying to play with her til she tires out. Now Pepper is in the game, being equally obnoxious. What do they want??? They have food, water, clean litter box, I’m home all the time, leave me alone!!

My allergies have been bugging the heck out of me too, I guess a lotta people around here are having this problem. It’s funny I never had allergies til I moved to California.
